I'm hopeful because the whole world has shown itself capable of coming together.
I'm sad that we have traveled so far down the road of ecological collapse that we have lost many species.
I'm sad that the climate warming crisis is so far advanced and we continue so many of the practices that have done this warming.
I'm hopeful because of the awareness and power of youth.
With covid -19, the war in Ukraine ,and with many other disasters around the world we have proven the ability to set aside differences for a crisis. Now, at this time in history, I see the world ready to reconnect, heal from the mental health challenges, and create a new future.
Let's all pull together.
